After allowing four runs in the top of the first inning, CSN wins leader Todd Danzeisen settled in to pitch one of his most efficient games of the season.

The sophomore lefty tossed six straight scoreless innings after the first, to earn his sixth victory of the season.

CSN answered the Golden Eagles big first inning with six runs of its own on the bottom half of the inning, highlighted by a 2 RBI single off the bat of Jordan Macias to give the Coyotes a 6-4 lead.

Jarrett Perns, Christian Maggi, Jason Wallace and Jay Martz contributed one RBI apiece.

CSN defeated CSI 8-4 in game 1 of the weekend to improve to 10-3 in SWAC play and 23-10 overall.
