Henderson, NV - Todd Danzeisen took the ball in game one of this crucial SWAC showdown with the Bruins hunting his eighth victory of the season and the Coyotes 13th consecutive conference victory at "The Den".

Jacob Thurbe launched a solo shot for the Bruins in the top of the first inning to put SLCC up early 1-0 and they added on a second run in the top of the 4th on a perfectly executed suicide squeeze to take a 2-0 lead.

The Bruins kept the Coyotes off the scoreboard through the first five innings, but CSN rallied late as it has done so many times this season.

Jay Martz cut the lead to 2-1 with a sacrifice fly to centerfield and "Swiss Army Knife" Joey O'Brien came through once again in the clutch with a 2 RBI single to put CSN ahead for the first time all game.

Blake Inouye pitched a scoreless top of the seventh to earn his third save of the year and secure Todd Danzeisen's eighth victory.

CSN defeated SLCC 3-2 to improve its SWAC record to 21-4 and overall mark to 34-11.
