CNCC used the momentum of a thrilling 8-7 opening game win over USU-E to propel themselves to a statement victory over CSN.
Redshirt freshman Alec Myers (3-6) pitched arguably the game of his life as he dominated the Coyotes over 6.1 innings of 2-run baseball.
The bats came alive for the Spartans late as they blew the game open by plating 13 runs in 7th, 8th and 9th innings.

Justin Lutes deposited a solo shot to left to tally the Coyotes third run of the contest.
Isaiah Blaylock took the loss after surrendering 4 runs over five innings of work.
CNCC defeated CSN 17-3 and will face the winner of tonight's SLCC vs CSI game.
