HENDERSON, Nev. (March 29, 2021) – For the first time in program department history, all of the College of Southern Nevada's sanctioned sports will be in action in the same week.
The Coyotes and Lady Coyotes will see their men's-and-women's soccer seasons open the season, with the soccer programs and the baseball and softball programs all playing at home. CSN Volleyball will play in the Region 18 tournament in Richfield on Friday.

Baseball: The No. 10 CSN Baseball team will return home this week for a Scenic West Athletic Conference series with Salt Lake.
The Coyotes are off to a 10-1 start in Scenic West Athletic Conference play, sweeping USU Eastern in play last weekend. Southern Nevada is 21-3 at Morse Stadium this season.

Nick Garritano said his team is excited for to face a longtime, competitive foe.
"This series will conclude the first half of SWAC play and we are hoping we can continue to get better each week," he said. "SLCC is a very well respected club and our work will be cut out as it has been the past few weeks. There is a ton of parity in the SWAC this year. We never will put too much emphasis on any one particular series this early in the season. We are still trying to get healthy and avoid further injuries with our own club."
Men's Basketball: Southern Nevada will take to the road to finish the regular season at USU Eastern on Tuesday.
The Coyotes earned a win last weekend against Colorado Northwestern, finishing their home schedule at CSN Sports Center victoriously. CSN will look to avenge a pair of close losses earlier this season against the Eagles on the road.

Russ Beck said his team is full of momentum after the win last weekend.
"We are wanting to continue upward trajectory," he said. "We have seen steady improvement each game. We feel like if we go get this last regular season win at USU Eastern, that it makes us a very dangerous team entering the Region Tournament."
Women's Basketball: CSN Women's Basketball will take to the road to finish the regular season, facing off against USU Eastern.
The Lady Coyotes suffered a heartbreaking defeat in their last outing, narrowly losing 86-82 to USU Eastern. CSN will play next week in the Region 18 tournament.
Men's Soccer: CSN Men's Soccer will open the 2021 spring season with a pair of matches this week, facing off against Arizona Western on Thursday and Snow College on Saturday.
CSN will continue to play its games at Heritage Park throughout the 2021 season.

Yancey Tisdale said his program is excited to open the year.
"My guys are just ready to go," he said. "It has been a long time since stepping on the field for a game and they are wanting to get this season kicked off. Training sessions have been intense, and the mindset has been very good. There isn't much of a nervousness about this group when it comes to playing. We get on the field and just do what we have done our entire life."
Women's Soccer: The Lady Coyotes will take to the pitch for the first time in 2021, playing Arizona Western and Casper College.

Jocelyn Roach said her team is ready to begin the season.
"Our team is just so excited to be back on the field competing," she said. "It's been a long time coming and our team's focus is to go out, compete well and enjoy the games this week. Our team has enjoyed being back on the field with teammates and we are ready to kick off the season with a pair of home games."
Softball: CSN Softball is coming off a successful weekend, having gone 3-1 at home against USU Eastern.
The Lady Coyotes will have a tall task this week, traveling to play at No. 1 Salt Lake Community College. The duo will play doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday.

Ashley Johnston noted his team's awareness of the challenge in facing Salt Lake.
"Going into Salt Lake and playing the top team in the nation is not going to be easy, but we are ready for the challenge," she said. "We have played them twice already this year and seen all they have so excited to see my team come off a great weekend vs USUE and looking forward to taking down SLCC. We are growing every day and getting better. I think my team knows they can compete with anybody so looking forward to the opportunity to knock off the No. 1 team in the country."
Volleyball: CSN Volleyball will open up its 2021 postseason with a Region 18 tournament matchup on Friday against Southern Idaho.
The Lady Coyotes will play as the No. 5 seed, with the winner advancing to face top-seeded Snow.
