SANTA CLARITA, CA (September 25, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada Cross Country program had a strong showing in a weekend invitational in Southern California.
The Coyotes and Lady Coyotes competed in the 'TMU XC Invitational' event, hosted by The Masters University. This is the third event of the season for CSN.
Noah Espeleta led the CSN Men's program, posting a time of 26:30 in the 8K course.
Pedro Rios ran in 27:10, while
Chase Nunn had a time of 29:25. Other finishers included
Maximus Shambaugh (29:31),
Prince Alipustain (29:39), and
Juward Peebles (31:15).
Ashley Roberts was the leader for the Lady Coyotes, running a 5K in 19:23.
Maferima Diaby ran in 21:07, while
Aubrey Bucher posted a time of 21:59. The other CSN finisher was Lacey Schalrmann, who ran in 22:56.
Southern Nevada's next scheduled competition is the 'Vaquero "Campy" Invitational' on October 9 in Arizona.
