Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Lady Coyotes Battle Tough Against Snow College, Look Ahead to Home Opener

November 1, 2025 – Richfield, Utah - The College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team continued its early-season road swing Saturday afternoon, showing grit and hustle before falling to Snow College, 65–50, at the Sevier Valley Center.

The Lady Coyotes (0–2) came out energized, setting the tone early with an aggressive first quarter that saw them outscore the Badgers 14–12.  Forward Saroiya Ajomale led the charge with a strong inside presence, scoring 13 points and grabbing nine rebounds to pace CSN.  Trista Mabry added seven points and matched Ajomale on the glass with nine rebounds, giving the Coyotes a physical boost in the paint.

Freshman guard Satsuki Bradley distributed the ball efficiently with a team-high four assists and six points, while Elizabeth Mahavong provided an offensive spark off the bench, contributing seven points in just three minutes of action. Leah Mitchell, Mya Harper, and Jada Green each added key baskets to keep CSN within striking distance throughout the contest.

After leading early, the Coyotes battled through a cold second quarter but regrouped to keep pace in the second half. CSN's defense continued to pressure Snow College, forcing turnovers and limiting second-chance opportunities. The Lady Coyotes also dominated the boards, pulling down 49 rebounds—including 20 offensive—to Snow's 46.

Head Coach Dan Savage's squad showed strong resolve down the stretch, outscoring the Badgers in second-chance points (11–8) and displaying the balanced effort and teamwork that will define their season.

The Lady Coyotes will now turn their focus to the home opener on Friday, November 7, when they host Grand Canyon University Club at 5:30 p.m. inside the Coyote Event Center on the North Las Vegas campus. Fans are encouraged to come out and support as CSN looks to build momentum on home court and continue its early-season growth.
