In just its second season of existence the College of Southern Nevada Men's soccer program claimed a Scenic West Athletic Conference regular season title and with it, the right to host the 2017 Region XVIII tournament. Heritage Park in Henderson, Nevada will play host to some high level junior college soccer Friday October 27
th and Saturday October 28
th with the winner earning a berth into the 2017 Western District Tournament the following weekend in Arizona.

USU-Eastern can win the 2017 Region 18 tournament if…
The Eagles revert back to their early season form which they allowed just eight goals in the team's first four conference matches. Despite dropping six of its last seven matches Eastern remains a threat, especially if they can pull the upset Friday afternoon over the host Coyotes.
#3 Snow College Badgers 11-6 overall, 7-5 SWAC
Players to watch: Sam Bamberlister (15* goals, 1 assist, 31* points) James Pena (8 goals, 2 assists, 18 points) Renan Gomez (5 goals, 5* assists, 15 points) Javier Vierya (23 GA, 1.76 GAA, .641 save percentage, 41 saves)
Snow College can win the 2017 Region 18 tournament if…
The Badgers continue to play competitively versus the top two teams in the conference. Snow defeated both CSN and SLCC at least once this season and have a talented enough roster to claim a region 18 crown. With most experts picking either Southern Nevada or Salt Lake to emerge victorious in this weekend's tournament the Badgers are playing with "house money" and that makes them a legitimate threat to emerge victorious.
#2 Salt Lake City Bruins 10-5-1 overall, 8-4 SWAC
Players to watch: Raul Sanchez (5* goals, 10* points) Alex Jaimez (4 goals, 1 assist, 9 points) Bryson Colmere (3 goals, 3* assists, 9 points) Tyler Dean (17 GA, 1.46 GAA, .667 save percentage, 34 saves)
Salt Lake can win the 2017 Region 18 tournament if…
The Bruins continue to take care of business versus the Coyotes. In five matchups over two seasons between the two programs SLCC owns a 4-1-1 advantage, outscoring CSN 11-8 in some of the most competitive and hard fought conference games we have seen. If Salt Lake gets past Snow on Friday, the stage may set up for an epic match between the top two soccer programs in the SWAC with a berth in the Western District tournament on the line.
#1 College of Southern Nevada Coyotes 10-4-1 overall, 8-3-1 SWAC
Players to watch: Manuel Ponce (13* goals, 3 assists, 29* points) Stefan Skrinjaric (5 goals, 7* assists, 17 points) Momodou Kinteh (6 goals, 3 assists, 15 points) Miguel Navarrete (15 GA, 1.28 GAA, .688 save percentage, 33 saves, 2 shutouts)
Southern Nevada can win the 2017 Region 18 tournament if…
The Coyotes continue its dominance at the "Den" CSN has dropped just one match at home in two seasons, and with a defense anchored by sophomore co-captains
Conner Malone and reigning SWAC keeper of the year
Miguel Navarrete CSN has become the toughest team to score upon in the conference. Southern Nevada is looking to repeat as Region 18 tournament champions and with arguably the deepest collection of talent in the SWAC, it will take a major upset to derail the Coyotes quest to return to the Western Districts and Nationals.
