RICHFIELD, UT. (April 8, 2021) – The opening round of the 2021 Region 18 women's basketball tournament did not go the way of the College of Southern Nevada women's basketball team Thursday.
CSN dropped a 69-49 decision to USU Eastern in the tournament's first-round, ending Southern Nevada's season. The Lady Coyotes will finish the year at 0-16.
USU Eastern jumped out to a 24-13 lead after the first quarter, taking a 38-30 halftime lead. CSN shot just 32.8 percent in the game.
Sharmayne Finely led Southern Nevada with 19 points, while
Coraly Dupree posted 8 points and 10 rebounds.
Tyra Perkins finished with 9 points.
