Cross Country: After a strong performance in northern California a week ago, the CSN Cross Country will look to run well in Southern California.

CSN will run in the 'Titan Invitational', which is hosted by Cal State Fullerton. The race features some of the top programs on the West Coast, including several top NCAA programs.

Coyotes coach Bryan Astudillo said the meet is a great test for his team.

"We are traveling to Cal State Fullerton this weekend to compete against a very competitive field," he said. "There are going to be over 30 teams competing including NCAA Division I schools. We look forward to racing this course as it was one of our favorite courses and it is our regular season finale."

Astudillo said his team is focused on improving, while also keeping its eyes on the upcoming NJCAA national tournament.

"Keeping healthy is our main focus for nationals," he stated. "After this week we have two more weeks of intense training and workouts. Then we will be lowering mileage and get the body ready and rested for that big race at nationals in Tallahassee."

Volleyball: The Lady Coyotes will host a rare one-day, league doubleheader Saturday as part of a full weekend of Scenic West play.

Southern Nevada will host Colorado Northwestern in a pair of matches inside the Coyote Event Center, closing the matches with the 'Sophomore Day' festivities on Saturday. The day's matches will start at 10:00 a.m., with the follow up match being played at 1:00 p.m.
