CSN Men’s Soccer drops Scenic West home match

Box Score HENDERSON, Nev. (September 8, 2022) – Things got sideways early for the College of Southern Nevada Men's Soccer team in a Scenic West Athletic Conference matchup.
 
Facing off in a home match against No. 14 Snow College, the Coyotes dropped behind early and never recovered in a 5-2 loss to the Badgers. Southern Nevada is now 2-6 overall and 1-1 in Scenic West matches.
 
It was Southern Nevada who scored first in the match, posting a goal in the 16th minute on a Cypress Navarro-Acio score to take a 1-0 lead. From there, Snow scored four unanswered goals to take an advantage it would never surrender. The Coyotes would score again in the 74th minute, thanks to a Nuntawat Nithlertvijit goal.
 
CSN goalkeeper Damian Moreno finished with ten saves in the loss. Snow held a 22-7 advantage in total shots. 
 
Southern Nevada will host Truckee Meadows in a matchup of the 'Silver State Rivalry' on Saturday at the Cheyenne Soccer Complex.
