Box Score 2 YUMA, AZ. (February 2, 2023) – The strong start to the 2023 season continued for the College of Southern Nevada Softball team Thursday.
Opening the 'Great Western Shootout' in Arizona, CSN played games against South Mountain and host Arizona Western. The Lady Coyotes earned an 8-0 win against Arizona Western, while posting a 9-4 victory over South Mountain. CSN is now 6-2 overall.
Caitlin Covington had five RBI's in the doubleheader, hitting a home run.
Kayley Cole had five hits and a home run, also.
Mia Flores and
Laynee Anzalone both earned wins in the pitching circle.
Southern Nevada will face off against Pima and Eastern Arizona on Friday.
