Box Score Douglas, Ariz. — January 9, 2026- The College of Southern Nevada Lady Coyotes closed out their ACCAC road series with a hard-fought 47–46 victory over Cochise College on Friday night in Douglas, Arizona, earning a split of the two-game conference matchup.
In a tightly contested, defensive battle that featured nine ties and eight lead changes, CSN made just enough plays down the stretch to secure the one-point win. The Lady Coyotes led 47–42 late in the fourth quarter and withstood a final Cochise push to close out the game.
Saroiya Ajomale led CSN with 18 points, attacking the rim and getting to the free-throw line while also pulling down seven rebounds.
Trista Mabry added 15 points and six rebounds, while
Satsuki Bradley contributed nine points, three steals, and four assists in a full 36-minute effort.
The Lady Coyotes shot 28.8 percent from the field (19-of-66) and knocked down two three-pointers, but made up for it with strong defense and activity on the glass. CSN forced 19 Cochise turnovers and turned those into 19 points, a key difference in the low-scoring contest.
Leah Mitchell chipped in two points and seven rebounds, while
Alanna Jackson added three rebounds and three steals to help anchor the defensive effort. CSN also held a narrow 37–28 rebounding edge.
Cochise was led by Gaby Oliver with 11 points, while Cecy Burruel added 10 points. Malika Goutay came off the bench to score 12 points and grab 10 rebounds, helping keep the Apaches within striking distance until the final seconds.
CSN outscored Cochise 13–11 in the opening quarter and 14–11 in the third, using timely defensive stops to offset cold shooting stretches on both sides.
With the win, the Lady Coyotes head back to North Las Vegas with momentum as conference play continues. CSN will return home to host Yavapai College on Wednesday, January 14, at the Coyote Event Center on the North Las Vegas Campus.
